Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi has announced that a draft agreement has been reached on the plates.
According to Bislim, a draft agreement reached with the EU will include the application of “to license plates, the withdrawal of special units and Serbian barricades, the deployment of KFOR members at border crossings and the formation of a working group to address the issue of the vehicle free movement.
We have tried to force Serbia to remove procedures for Kosovo citizens to move towards Serbia. And I think that was today's result, we can say it's a deal.
Of course, we would prefer that there are no barrier and these two countries today recognize the whole other countries' tables, this will also be the main target of the working group that we will establish and which will start meeting since October 21st.
We have an agreement on all points. The only point where the Serb side has not yet agreed has to do with cars having license plates ( KM ) for North Mitrovica, which they think would not have to apply stickers, and I think that's absurd because they're illegal boards”, Bislimi said in a direct connection to public television.
