Tahiri has written on Facebook that with the decision on reciprocity against Serbia's license plates, the Kurti Government has implemented the Brussels Agreement, but in addition, Tahiri says the government recognised the value of agreements it once opposed.
The Kurti government not only implemented the Brussels Agreement I wish for and support, but also recognized their value that once opposed it! ” wrote Tahiri.
By contrast, from Monday 20 September, cars entering Serbia should be equipped with temporary license plates at Kosovo border crossings.
The license issue was regulated by Brussels' Free Movement Agreement, reached in July 2011, under dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, where all owners of cars living in Kosovo must use tradition plates KSH (Kosovo) or ʹ RKS) (Republishment of Kosovo) and thus remove plates that for Kosovo Serbs issued to Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
