New studies reveal the importance of wearing masks in school

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published three new studies in a weekly report on disease and mortality that highlight the importance of wearing a head covering to prevent the spread of the virus and make direct instructions safer. These studies have found that schools that [...]

These studies have found that schools that have no universal rules for wearing masks are more likely to emerge from hot spots. Throughout the country, in circles where there is no mandatory wearing of masks, the number of pediatric cases of COVID-19 increased almost twice as quickly in the same period.

A report from Arizona found that schools in the country's two most populated counties are 3.5 times more likely to get out of hot spots unless they should wear masks compared to schools wearing masks from the first day.

Masks can prevent blasting grounds

Universal rules for wearing masks are important for schools, and this study stresses that masks can reduce the spread of the coronary and prevent school explosions.

Another report found that two weeks after the start of classes, the average number of pediatric COVID cases was lower in circles where wearing the mask was mandatory in schools (16.32 per 100,000/day) compared to circles where wearing the mask was not mandatory (34.85 cases) for 100,000/days). This information shows how certain measures can reduce the burden of the health system.

The third report called for closing schools due to COVID-19, and it turned out that despite the fact that around 1,800 schools were closed this school year, even 96% of public schools were still open and the lessons were held directly. The CDC stresses that one of their main instructions is to offer students a safe environment for direct learning, and they believe that this can be achieved by using covers.

The CDC points out that these studies show what instructions can help prevent the spread of the virus. Promoting vaccines for certain groups, wearing masks and testing are tried methods that we go to the end of pandemic, according to the CDC.
