Given health and security regulations as a result of the global pandemic, the mayor and manager are taking the first opportunity to travel to Kosovo to meet with civil society and others”, the report says.
Kosovo Specialised Chambers Speaker Ekaterina Trendafilova is expected to visit northern Mitrovica as well.
The Special Court, or officially called, the Specialised Chambers and the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, is part of Kosovo's judicial system, but with headquarters at The Hague. It investigates the alleged crimes of former Kosovo Liberation Army members between January 1998 and December 2000.
The EU annually allocates about 40m euros for the work of the Special Court.
