According to the BBC, the crew of Inspiration4, consisting of one billionaire and three of the usual <x0-cyto-civilians”, left the Kennedy Space Centre with a Dragon capsule provided by the SpaceX missile company.
Four will spend the next three days walking around Earth.
It's another historic moment in the space tourism market, which is experiencing a revival after a decade.
Early this summer, billionaire businessmen Sir Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos went over the Earth atmosphere with their space vehicles.
And after this last mission, there will be two private visits to the International Space Station (ISS) one in October, which will host a Russian film director and an actress, until a second visit is made at the start of New Year's Eve.
