The chairman of this SPS, Yusuf Azemi, stressed that they are persistent in implementing their demands, while saying the government is making divisions in front of the workers.
He at a media conference stressed that technical service and hospital and QKMF physical security workers were discriminated against the differential for the additional 60 euros.
The “all this nonsense, done by the Government of Kosovo with these divisions, will remain with theirs. We insist on taking what we deserve. There are no divisions, for the same entry if they enter, doctors, security workers, cleaning workers and nurses. Thus, COVID-19 does not recognise and make no distinctions the Kosovo government does. As far as it touches us, it's touching the doctor and all of them. So we're badly indignant and badly discriminated against, yet we will not kneel. We, for the sake of the patients who are able to what they are, will postpone this situation as much as we can delay and we are waiting for better days to drop the number of infected”, Azemi said.
He said the government's recent actions do not coincide with the election campaign slogan “
Azem stressed that since the country is close to elections, they will punish the government with votes for these divisions in additional salaries.
And if we're going to be able to get all of our patients, all of those who've changed their lives, but don't be easy on all those who in Serbia's time have known to discriminate against us... It's started with the <x1 minus Kreet and Direct” and we as unions are seeing the “Kret and Witch”. We're in 24 hours with people who are infected, while our government and our deputies are doing our best by sea. Therefore, we are the ones that are facing 24 hours, we are the ones that can't even go on an annual holiday”, he stressed.
The union chairman, Azemi, stressed that the final date for these decisions to be changed is September 30th, otherwise protests will be organised.
Days ago, the Kosovo government has made a decision to allocate 2.7m euros for additional payments to medical personnel. According to Finance, Labour and Transfers Minister Iron Murati, this split from 60 euros is due for August, September and October
