The situation at the border checkpoint in Jarinje until the afternoon hours of Thursday has been calm and devoid of tension. During the afternoon, when news of the deal reached in Brussels has even emerged, there have been more intensified movements of Serb protesters at this border point, but the same ones have decreased during the afternoon.
The Klonkosova team standing there has announced that at the first barricades, placed most closely with the Special Police Units of Kosovo and the place where the protesters stand mostly, the situation continues to be the same. There are still all the things the protesters have used for 11 days of their decision to reciprocity plates.
During the day there have been patrols on foot by US and Polish KFOR, which have been repeated over and over again. Also Serbian list deputy Slavko Simiqi has visited the protesters, but has not been promoted in connection with recent developments in Brussels, while Serbian list chairman Goran Rakiq is expected to go to Jarinje for a visit.
As police forces who have stayed there since 20 September are expected to leave Saturday.
