Shots fired at parties, police arrested 81 people over the summer

Kosovo police during this summer, specifically from June 28th to the present day, have been very busy preventing shootings at parties and weddings.

Police patrols around the country have monitored these kinds of celebrations (various celebrations and parties), with the aim of preventing the use of firearms for celebrating.

Police activities have contributed to the reduction of such cases, but there have still been cases when weapons have been used for such purposes.

Every time police had information from citizens or during patrols, it came to information that in such a case, guns were used, police were involved.

So during this time because of gun shooting, police have arrested 81 (eight and one) persons, confiscated: 91 (nine-one) guns and 21 (one-one) long weapons.

Police have initiated criminal cases such as possession without permission or causing general risk for those allegedly involved in such cases.

Unfortunately, there were no injured persons.
