Shaip Kamberi for license work: Of course, Albanians from the Presevo Valley will cause trouble

Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, says the European Union should react to Serbia for disrespecting the agreement regarding the billboards. In the situation created with the reciprocity of the license plates, he claims Serbia holds the blame. The latter's behaviour considers to depend on international reactions. However, he does not expect destabilisation [...]
However, it does not expect destabilisation of the situation, but only severity of rhetoric versus Kosovo. On the other hand, it raises concern that this decision will create additional trouble for Albanians in the Presevo Valley.
Shaip Kamberi from Belgrade for Kosova Prees says disrespecting the agreement regarding the billboards is also highlighted in the EU Progress Report for Serbia in 2020.
This last decision should be seen in the context of not implementing the Brussels Agreement registration treaty agreement, which Serbia is constantly ignoring. There is also a question mentioned in Serbia's Progress Report, which the EU has released in March of this year. Where Serbia is opposed to not implementing those agreements. Therefore, even in this context, I think it is right that the Kosovo government has established”, he declares.
He considers the Kosovo Government's decision to create additional trouble for Albanians in the Presevo Valley. But, according to him, it should become known to Serbia that breaking the agreement has a price.
And what for us is an additional concern for the residents of the Presevo Valley I believe this will complicate the free flow of people. Because I don't know how much the competent ministry is prepared for in terms of administrative procedures not to create toilets at the border. Otherwise, I hope that public promise will be held that will be compensated for the citizens of the Presevo Valley, all payments made on behalf of this measure”, Kamberi adds to Kosovas.
Furthermore, the Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament believes this decision has agreed with international friends.
I hope this decision has first agreed with international friends. I hope the government knows the responsibility it has claimed, that Serbia is looking forward to straining the situation to prove that Kosovo is destabilising the reports between the two states, but also the overall reports in the Balkans. In this respect, I believe and I hope that the government has had a consultation with the international factors it has given time to know about the measures it has taken of”, he declares.
The reaction of Serbs in the north, he says, has been expected, since the same are a minority which for years is privileged. Kamberi says these behaviors depend on the decisions of President Aleksandar Vuciq, stemming from international reactions.
“I believe there should be, that the table issue is cited as a violation which Serbia is consistently doing in the 2020 Progress Report. Since Serbia does not have any open chapter of EU integration in these nine months of this year, it clearly speaks of it avoiding the European path. That there should be a response to the European Union in the first place, which is the mediator of these agreements. There is no point in reaching agreements in Brussels and those agreements on one side not being respected”, he says.
He does not think there could be destabilisation of the situation, but that he stresses that local institutions had to think this through.
“I don't believe Serbia will have such comfort to create greater destabilisation of the situation. Destabilisation will go in verbal terms, because President Vuciqi and in general government nomenclatures here on the eve of holding presidential elections in next year and perhaps even parliamentary, consign a hardening of rhetoric against Kosovo. Therefore, what may be expected is more destabilisation of the verbal aspect, but for which we are constantly used to having a report with Belgrade”, says the Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament.
After the Security Council meeting, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has said that in order for Kosovo and Serbia to return to the talks, the situation in northern Kosovo must return as it used to be. He has called <x0 criminal activity”, the government's decision to the move.
During yesterday, the Government of Kosovo has imposed reciprocity measures, not allowing the flow of Serbia's license plates. The cars with these plates, at the entrance of Kosovo, must receive temporary license plates. Now, how many years Kosovo's citizens are charged with RKS plates to change them when they enter Serbia.
