Local Serbs have stayed all night at both border crossings in northern Kosovo, despite rain and low temperatures.
The column is about two and a half miles [3 km] long, while according to Kosovo Online reports, the number of trucks and other heavy vehicles that have been blocked by the road has increased during the night.
Numerous forces of the Kosovo Police Special Unit have also been deployed in Jarinje and Brnjak, but which so far has had no incident but occasional provocations with calls and nationalist songs from local Serbs protesting.
Kosovo's government on Monday morning began implementing reciprocity for license plates with Serbia, placing temporary license plates for Serbia's license plates entering Kosovo territory.
This greatly strained the situation in the north of the country where Serbian citizens in protest blocked roads at the Brnjak and Jarinje border crossings. /Klan Kosova
