KLA Veterans' Organisation representative Faton Klonaku has reacted to Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, saying this amounts to the same as “agreeing that Kosovo is the province of Serbia”.
“The KLA archives have been opened, are also open because there is nothing hidden in them. Those are stories the state of Kosovo needs. There are war displays, martyrs and warriors at the Kosovo museum.
If it's true, Zv. Kosovo's prime minister has discussed and agreed with Serbia to open “and KLA archives, it's the same as agreeing that Kosovo is Serbia's” province, Klinaku wrote on Facebook.
Kosovo Democratic Party Vice President Vlora Citaku has also reacted to the opening of state archives.
Citaku has asked Bislim if he is referring to Serbia's archives for the Kosovo Liberation Army. According to her, the archives Bislim has already spoken about are in The Hague.
“Zv. The prime minister has stated in Brussels that Belgrade has agreed to open the archives, and there he has said something about opening the archives for the KLA. Mr. Bislimi, what archives are you talking about? Belgrade archives for the KLA? They are already in The Hague. Kosovo archives for the KLA? Or the archives manufactured by others for the KLA? Do you think that if the KLA had such archives, they had not already come out?!!
She said this agreement between Kosovo and Serbia is a dangerous trap with frightening consequences.
This is a dangerous trap, with frightening consequences. By your irresponsible actions you have already acknowledged what Serbia has accused Kosovo and the KLA of for years”, Vlora Citaku wrote.
Even former Justice Minister from the AAK ranks Selim Selimi has reacted to Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi's statement.
Selimi has told Bislim that the KLA “archies” are Belgrade's invention.
“> The KLA archives are the invention of Belgrade and are produced there to fuel anti-Albanian propaganda and the political mechanisms that have been created by close experts with Serbia. This scandalous statement is conveyed by the word “reciprocity” for license plates. This is everything but reciprocity. Kosovo Serb citizens already have two sets of plates and pass smoothly in Serbia”, Selimi wrote in his account to “Facebook”
Lastly, analyst Kimete Berisha has reacted, demanding the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi and has at the same time called her unethnic and treacherous.
Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi has been speaking at a news conference today about the two-day meetings he has had in Brussels with the Serbian side and EU Emissar Miroslav Lajcak. Bislimi said the Serbian side has agreed to open state archives. He also said that the interruption of the license agreement for the plates that has had the expiration deadline has been interpreted by the European Union as a violation on the part of the Kosovo side.
“during the trilateral meeting, the Serbian side has stated they agree to open all archives, according to them implies Kosovo's state archives dealing with the KLA. I think it's in our interest because most of the mass cemetery where it claims it's the remaining parts of over 1600 citizens are located in these cemeterys, which mainly have information about the military archives of Serbia”, he said. /PERISCOP/
