It becomes known that flags have been introduced into Kosovo through alternative routes near the Jarinje border.
On the order of Serbia's government, they have started today to deploy across the streets of the country's four northern municipalities, in honour of the Serbian Unity Day, freedom and national flag”, which will be marked for the first time on 15 September in all Serb-run countries.
Kosova Prees has contacted Kosovo police spokesman for the northern region Branislav Radovic about the illegal entry of thousands of Serbian flags into the country's territory and this issue in general, but he has been very short in his answer by telephone.
“I don't have such information”, Radovic said.
On the other hand, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, after a meeting of Serbia's state leaders held earlier days in Belgrade, through a media conference, has announced the public about this holiday, which he said will be celebrated on 15 September from now on in all Serb-run trains.
“We have made a decision on a new state holiday which we will implement in the work. This is the day of Serbian unity, freedom and national flag, which will be celebrated jointly in Serbia, the Serbian Republic and in all Serbian spaces throughout the world”, Vuciq had said.
