Sentenced to 25 years in prison, ex-cop killed citizen in Gjilan

The indictment against him was proclaimed Monday by the case judge, Islam Thaci.

The accuser says that after the accident, the defendant comes out of the car and after a disagreement about the traffic accident between him and the victim, as well as the victim's son, Bland Spahiu, the same gun pulls out of the belt, and after several delays and attempts by witness Miradij Halili and Besnik to stop the defendant from shooting, after the victim enters the truck and closes the door, the defendant approaches the door of the truck where the window was open and the match in the direction of the victim, which strikes him at once at his right eye, where the victim dies at the scene.

For this, he is accused of committing criminal work “serious murder” by Article 173, paragraph 1, under paragraph 1.5 of the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

In addition, according to the second device of the act accuser, the defendant in opposition to the Law for Weapons, has held weapons in possession, control or possession and that two pistols of the type “Bereta”, where one is found in the closet of the first passenger seat in his car, along with over 50 bullets, while during the raid on his house, 7 helmets of the official gun and 76 bullets have been recovered from Kosovo police.

For this, he is accused of committing criminal work “ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons” by Article 366 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Kosovo's Criminal Code.

And in the third dissitative of the indictment, Hamdija is charged with being charged on December 29, 2019, after midnight, at the restaurant “ELMA” in the village of Malisheva has used the weapon so that while listening to folk music and drinking alcoholic beverages, it pulls out the pistol of the type “Bereta”, which was gasy and with the same flash several times inside the restaurant, towards the ground.

With these actions, he is suspected to have committed criminal work “the use of weapons or dangerous tools”, from Article 367 paragraph 1 and 3 of the Republic of Kosovo's Criminal Code. /Betimy for Justice
