In the afternoons, the chief of the Kosovo delegation for dialogue, Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, said it has agreed to the draft agreement, adding that “has remained for the Serbian side to reconcile itself with this text”.
He further said that, under that draft agreement Saturday, on October 2nd, KFOR forces will be deployed at the Jarinje and Brnjak border crossings, and several hours after their deployment will be started with the removal of barricades and the transfer of Kosovo Police Special Unit.
But international sources of Indexline learn that, in fact, no agreement has been reached by talks between Kosovo and Serbia.
Bislimi has notified EU envoy Lajqak that he needs to return to Kosovo because of his commitments at work.
Indexline sources also indicate that the Serbian side has added two more conditions to the possible agreement with Kosovo on the license agreement.
The several-hour talks have remained without results and today is over without results.
Indexline learns that Bislimi is expected to return to Brussels tomorrow and that the talks will continue.
