He confirmed this just moments ago, Education Minister Arberie Nagavci.
Nagavci through a post on social network “Facebook” has said that as an institution they have made all the preparations, but that the recommendations of the IKSHPK are to keep these measures going further.
The following is her full post.
Dear educational workers, honored parents.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, along with the Municipal Education Directors and School Leaders, has made all necessary preparations for the start of the new school year.
It has been revised and published “The chairman for the 2021/2022 school year under the conditions of COVID-19” and the same has been sent to municipal education directors.
The guide, enables teaching under epidemiological conditions in the country, including the terms of reopening educational-educative institutions with increased measures for public health, partial closure conditions or complete closure conditions due to the risk of health of COVID-19.
In addition, textbooks have been distributed, as well as schools for the start of the learning process. As we have said earlier, our goal is to have school institutions open up as soon as possible and to teach physical presence.
However, at the last meeting with the minister of health and competent representative, I was informed that recent recommendations of health professionals, according to today's IKSHP report, are to continue with the same measures over a certain period, until the improvement of the situation with the pandemic and re-evaluation of the measures. Of course, we will respect the recommendations of health professionals and the final decision on this issue will be decided at the government's rotating meeting.
We are all witnesses that the Delta version is spreading much faster than the previous versions and is broadcasting and affecting the early ages, so we need to respect all recommendations and measures and make sure that the return of children to schools is safe.
As minister of education commends all teachers and other school staff, who have already been vaccinated, and I call for inoculation not only to those educational workers who have so far not been vaccinated but also to parents, to exploit this right because it is the only way to preserve their health and that of others.
