Rakiq, just like Kurti for the situation in the north: The Solution Is in Brussels

Serbian List Chairman, who is also Minister of Local Power in the Republic of Kosovo Goran Rakiq, has declared that resolving the situation created in the north of the country should be sought in Brussels and that it, according to him, is not located in northern Kosovo. “Today I am in Jarinje and have talked with people [...]

I'm in Jarinje today and I talked to the people who are here. I have told them to be patient, not to fall into provocations, and I have shown that right now in Brussels there are technical negotiating teams -- Djurovic and Bislimi -- with the European Union's mediation, where I hope they will find a solution to overcome this situation that we all have freedom of movement” -- said Rakiq, in a statement before the media, which is directed after a time of stay with Serbian citizens who continue to protest in the vicinity of the Jarinje border.

Rakiq also said that the talks, which are being held today in Brussels, expects there to be a stable compromise, which, according to him, implies respect for what was previously signed in Brussels.

The resolution to this problem is not here, it is at the negotiating table in Brussels, and I expect all sides to implement what they agreed on and what they signed. The key to success and resolution of the problem is in Brussels”, he added, broadcasts news.net.

Asked if I could comment on information that Serbia's military forces have already withdrawn from positions close to the border with Kosovo, he said he considers that it is not a question for him.
I don't have any information on this and that's not a question for me”, Rakiq said.
