In the Community of Chiefs of Missions of these states it is said to be disturbing that the Constitution is forced to remind institutions that must implement decisions.
“The functions of the missions of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States of America take into consideration and welcome the unanimous declaration of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo on 24 September concerning its failure to implement previous decisions, including the 2016 decision to register the Decan Monastery land. It is disturbing that Kosovo's Constitutional Court is forced to commemorate executive institutions to ensure and implement rule of law in these more than delayed cases”, the communique says.
On the other hand, the QUINT-I have called on the government without delay to implement in full the Constitutional decision on the Decani Monastery.
“Sic is highlighted in the State Declaration of Quint on May 19th, respecting rule of law is a duty of all governments. We strongly urge the Government of Kosovo to continue without delay with the full implementation of the legal land registration of the Decani Monastery, in line with the Constitutional Court's ruling. Kosovo's support for the rule of law and independent judiciary is based on full and equal implementation of all judges' decisions, despite political differences”, said the communique.
