PSD emits thrilling action communiques in the north: “for us, JO”

From Crisis to Eternal Conflict

Kosovo yesterday began setting up test boards to citizens of Serbia, as Serbia was long doing towards us. The problem of license plates, IDs, entrants and all partial agreements is the lack of political agreement with Serbia. Any Kosovo action should be directed towards that goal. Targat action, however correctly it may seem, contributes to maintenance and eternity of the problem.

The last 10 years of dialogue have been guided by the word of the mind of compromise. We're on the streets and technical processes without knowing the end. There is danger that the next 10 years will be lost under the mark of the other extreme. Acting like we're self-sufficient, as if we don't need the final agreement and recognition from Serbia.

This attitude has been shaped and shaped for two years. From the historic, advocate and liberation position, Kosovo is heading towards a destructive and non-competitive stance. Such an attitude is justified without question through reciprocity as a guiding principle. Beyond the fact that it can often be useful and practical, the question of what extent can it be universalized as a principle? The dominant disk has made this notion a sacred one organizing each word on human values. Reciprocity is placing universal values as freedom equality, or becoming synonymous with them. Is that really so? Reciprocity is the principle of talione in relations between states. As a concept, it implies the permanent existence of parties with different interests (both partisans) and hostile intimacy. This registry is informed by the hostile nature of hobs, and reciprocity as the regulator for this violence. And should your enemy act in each situation? Suppose Serbia constantly and quietly makes the expulsion of Albanians from Presevo Valley through various economic, police and administrative pressures. Should Kosovo respond with the same currency to Serbs? Not for us. Our principle is equality and peace among the peoples, and we respond to each invasion effort with antifasity.

What was the purpose of operating with the license plates? Reciprocity? Then why don't you continue with the travel papers? Trade has even more weight. Serbia has sold over 100m euros in goods since the beginning of the year.

On the other hand, the license plate problem created another problem - the blocking of magical roads. Blocking roads actually holds the dysfunctional limit, but the Government says it does not prevent them. The impasse appears to continue. Experience from the past tells us that this situation ends at the negotiating table.

If the approach of the new government on dialogue is similar to that of the license plates, then we know for sure that we are not heading towards a final agreement but to a permanent conflict. No concrete measures and no agreements can be deemed isolated and independent.

In the concrete situation, we should not allow any action to distract us from the primary purpose of the final agreement through mutual recognition. Each action of each behavior should be appreciated in the face of that goal. It is extremely discouraging, and we would not want the battles of future generations to be the same as those fought by our parents.
