Many protesters gathered near the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul, and militants shot into the air to intimidate and disperse them. Similar scenes were reported in the Parwan province and that Nimruz. There have been reports of excessive violence, mainly against two journalists, who were covering the women's protest near a police station.
The Taliban have banned manifestations not authorized by the Ministry of Justice. In recent protests, Afghans chanted and had slogans such as “we seek freedom”, “arms do not shut us down” and “Pakistan and America”.
There were also manifestations in various areas by only women who oppose the new Taliban government made up of only men. They also look for a role in the new executive, jobs, education, and freedom to get out of the house without a man's having to associate with him.
Meanwhile, in Herat, a video obtained by CNN shows the Taliban making a parade of military vehicles. They are believed to have been used in advance by Afghan forces and donated by international armies.
