Prone scandal with the gasman

While Kosovo has accepted millions of dollars of donations from America for weapons and military vehicles and considers American assistance to address the crisis in the north as irreplaceable, the Kurti Government does not seem to want to approve American projects for the construction of gasplots recommended by the American government itself. Metro teaches that total value [...]
The Metro newspaper exclusively teaches that the Government of Kosovo has refused to meet all conditions by the US Government that would complete preparations for launching procurements for the gas carrier since next year. Furthermore, while the Kosovo public has initially been informed of 200 million irreversible grants offered by the MCC, Metro also learns that the total value of investments Kosovo risks losing forever is over 600m euros: 200 million have already been officially separated by the Biden Administration primarily for the gas-freeze project and a gas plant; 90m euros have been offered as soft loans from European development banks, while 25 million have been offered as irreversible grants from European sources.
Following pressure and disappointments that have been directed privately to Kurt, the prime minister has now called all opposition leaders for a meeting tomorrow for a “joint strategy”.
Also, according to the MCC plans, depending on the size of the gas plant, 300 million investments are planned by American or European investors in the construction of a gas power plant, which would dramatically reduce the air level polluted in Kosovo.
According to a source in the Government of Kosovo, the statements of Kosovo ministers that the cost of investing” is unknown, as stated by Economy Minister Rizvanolli, or that this gas may have Russian descent, as Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi stated the previous day, are the purely false “ ”.
According to a document that the Metro newspaper saw, which is a confidential document discussed between the Cosows Government and the American government, Kosovo has had to meet six conditions to benefit from this enormous 600m-euro investment. These conditions were confirmed by former Prime Minister Hoti. He in a proposal on the social network Facebook last week confirmed that “in the 2014-2017 Government have met the conditions for Kosovo to become part of the MCC. And for several years since the MCC, along with Kosovo institutions, has done the necessary research on diversification of energy resources, including gas supply”, wrote Hoti on Facebook. He criticised Kurti Government's approach by saying that: “Neither in the Mustafa Government nor in my government have we never had a dilemma for co-operation with the US”.
What are the conditions the MCC has asked for providing 600m euros in investments, including irreversible grants of $200m from American taxpayers? According to the confidential document, the MCC Board, which in 2017 has approved the gas transmission grant. In 2018, the Government of Kosovo has had to approve projects, under which the MCC has financed since 2018 pre-fisability studies, in 2019, the MCC Board, which has been led by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, has re-elected Kosovo for funding, and Government Hoti has approved these two projects as final:
1. Gaz Sector Development
2. The power system balance reserves as well as a smaller project to reinforce skills and engage women in the energy sector.
Last year, according to this document, “intensive consultations” were launched with the Kosovo government and international partners.
According to an exclusive international document agreed on by the 2020 Hoti Government and MCC, the conditions the Government of Kosovo has failed to meet, sending the entire 600m-euro package to failure are: 1) The failure to invest in TC Kosova A 2) Gas Strategy in Government 3) The EURZH's 90m-euro approval of negotiations with Greece and Macedonia for gas-resulting 5) subscript of the 1CC 200m grant during 2021 or early 2022. According to the source from the Kosovo government involved in negotiations, American despair is now under the behaviour of Kurti and President Osmani government and is expected to dramatically cut those funds.
