President Vjosa Osmani has called on the state of India to recognise Kosovo's independence.
She's interviewing Indian medium W INS, has said that Kosovo is not Kashmir.
We once again call on the Indian government to first acknowledge the suffering of Kosovo citizens caused by Slobodan Milosevic's genocide regime and second to recognise the reality which will not change”, it has indicated.
It is only a matter of time when countries like India will join other democratic countries around the world to recognise the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Kosovo”.
