Portugal vaccinates 80 percent of its population

Portugal has fully vaccinated 80% of its population against the Coronavirus, thus becoming one of the world's most vaccinated states.

At the beginning of the pandemic, the country faced a frightening increase in coronary cases. Portugal has been able to vaccinate some 8.2 million people from its more than 10 million inhabitants.

Almost all adults over 65 and half of young people aged 12-17 are now completely vaccinated in Portugal.
