spokesman The PDK, Faton Abdullahu, has said that these elections should not be held at gatherings and groupings of people, but the measures imposed by the IKSHPK must be respected.
“We, like the Democratic Party of Kosovo, are not the local elections postponed. They should be kept when planned. However, the October elections should not be held conventionally, with crowd gatherings and groupings of people, but strictly respected the measures and recommendations of IKKPK.”, he said.
On the other hand, he has stressed that he does not trust Kurti Government because, according to him, the government's thinking and its inaction has made the situation alarming on the ground.
The PDK has also expressed concern about the situation in education, where the start of the new school year has been postponed.
“, if needed, in line with the situation on the ground and the recommendations of the responsible institutions, those measures should be changed and met. On the other hand, if the reason for the postponement of elections is that the health of citizens is protected by this, which is, then it's difficult, in fact, quite impossible, to believe this thinking, already institutional political. By actions, respectively, by inaction, this government has since created the situation on the ground that has simply become alarming and dangerous to the lives of the citizens of Kosovo, and unfortunately also for many processes and developments, especially in the field of education.”, he has said of Periscopi.
Unlike the other opposition LDK party, it has come out against the local elections.
