PDK chairmanship member Adri Nurellar has reacted after misinterpreting his statement regarding the personal positions of PDK Steering Council member Andy Hoti.
In a Facebook post, Nurellar has indicated that the news title had nothing to do with the subject of the interview and was out of context. Commenting on the popular title in the media, he explains that it is not appropriate because he has not spoken of any formal resignation or departure of Andy Hoti from the PDK to merit this sensational title.
“Theme has been the opening of the matter of secret KLA archives, where I reconsidered the position of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, which considers this subject harmful to Kosovo.”, he writes. Nurellar says he has wanted to clarify that Hoti's statement on the KLA archives issue comes from his new state post and represents a different stance than his official position PDK.
“I regret Andy and the public opinion of this misunderstanding of my statement. My main goal has been to accurately explain the PDK's official version of the various comments given on the subject.”, writes Nurellar.
Adri Nurlar's complete statement:
I need to explain that this title had nothing to do with the subject of the interview and was taken out of context. The theme has been opening the issue of secret KLA archives where I reiterated the position of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, which considers this subject harmful to Kosovo.
I haven't even talked about any formal resignations or the departure of Andy Hoti from the PDK to get off with this sensational title. None of this has happened in my knowledge. But I wanted to explain that his statement comes from his new state post and represents a different attitude than the official position of PDK.
I regret Andy and the public opinion of this misunderstanding of my statement. My main goal has been to accurately explain the official version of the PDK in terms of multiple comments.
