On Saturday, the Health Ministry reported the 41 dead as a result of the virus and 539 infected. But that is not the highest figure of dead persons to be recorded within 24 hours.
Just four months ago during the third wave, for just a few days in April the high death rate was recorded, but the number of affected was twice as high as the number of infected now. On April 2nd, 1320 were registered and 50 dead, while on April 7, 1300, cases and 51 died. /AlsatM
