He has declared that Kosovo's bid was “the removal of temporary license plates from both countries”.

The establishment of reciprocity measures for car plates was done Monday by the Government of Kosovo, which prevents Kosovo citizens of Serbian ethnicity and Serbian citizens of Albanian ethnicity travelling around the border from doing so without placing temporary license plates in question.

The decision on license plates is fair and guarantees the right to free movement, including Serbian citizens. The obstacles are being done with several trucks municipal property, and this is misuse of public assets. I invite the organised group of Serbian citizens because they have blocked themselves and the movement. For incidents and passage, neither citizens nor our state have any interest in Kosovo Serbs nor Serbia. It seems that interest has only one individual, the president of Serbia. We are for dialog”, Mr. Prime Minister.

Even our public offer is extremely practical, let's remove the temporary signs both Serbia and Kosovo. I believe it is not in Serbia's interest to reject dialogue and negotiations as they are currently doing. Brussels is the place where negotiations should be held and we are willing and open to negotiate.” continued further.

Serbia, on the other hand, has warned economic measures in the case and has asked the EU to find the Brussels agreement showing Pristina's move is legitimate.
