For the situation in northern Kosovo, Report Tv contacted NATO, which responded with the same statement they gave about the situation in which they sought to reduce tensions between the two sides, avoid unilateral actions and dialogue.
“NATO calls for lowering tensions in northern Kosovo. We call on Belgrade and Pristina to exercise restraint, avoid unilateral actions and dialogue. The KFOR mandate remains to ensure a safe and free environment for all communities”, writes NATO's statement.
For the situation in the north, there have been provocations from Serbia, which have brought military forces and fighter aircraft close to the border patrol into the air, while Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said these are provocations of Vucic are trying to fuel regional conflict.
