Kosovo Communist Association Director Saban Ibrahimi has declared for Express that municipalities are ready and require the new school year to begin on September 27th.
The “communs are available and require the new school year to begin on September 27th. This was concluded at the College of Education Directors meeting under the Kosovo Communist Association”, Ibrahimi has stated.
Ibrahimi said that any decision for any scenario to develop the learning process would be made by the Municipal Education Task Force.
In addition, he said the challenge would remain to replace pregnant teachers and those with chronic illnesses.
“The challenge will remain to replace pregnant and chronically ill teachers. It requires that the Government of Kosovo adopt an additional budget, to draw up lists for the replacement of these teachers in order not to lose teaching”, Ibrahim has declared.
Otherwise, the new school year was set to begin on September 13th, but because of the situation with COVIDD-19 in the country, the deeri was suspended on September 26th.
It is still not known whether August and the Health Ministry will decide on the start of the new school year on September 27th.
