Police patrols have been monitoring vehicle movements, and at one point they have noticed that seven (7) persons have descended from the mountain and have started entering vehicles. The reaction of the police patrol has been immediate, two suspects and seven immigrants have been detained.
In co-ordination with the Prosecutor of the Founding Criminal Prosecutor in Prizren, the immigrant smuggling case has been initiated. Police investigators have initially interviewed two suspects: E.K. (V.l. 1998) and G.H. (v.l. 2000), citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and after that it has been understood that even a third person is involved in the case of migrants. Police investigators have arrested and then interviewed suspect R.Z., (v.l. 1990), male, citizen of Kosovo.
With the prosecutor's decision, the three suspects have been detained for 48 hours, while migrants' procedures have been conducted by police officials from the PR Directorate of Migration.
