Interior Affairs Minister Xhelal Svecla has hosted Albania's Minister of Internal Affairs, Bledi Cuci, today.
Svechla congratulated Chuchi on the task as well as for the first meeting of the Council of Ministers after the institution's constitutionalisation, thanking him for signing two agreements: The local border traffic agreement, as well as the Agreement for the opening of the joint border checkpoint Shishtavec (Kukes).
Svechla stressed that the two countries' co-operation will deepen into many dimensions and benefit citizens on both sides of the borders.
The minister stressed that they remain united both at peace and in common challenges. Also, Minister Svechla stressed that the interior ministries of our two states have more than 20 agreements that are undoubtedly aimed at facilitating life and developing Albanian activity on both sides of the” border, the MPB statement said.
The two ministers pledged that this co-operation would continue even in the future between the two police of our states in the field of public security, fighting crime and corruption.
