The document published on the presidency's official page is said to have Rama's decree under Article 93 and 96 of the Constitution, as the Socialist Party has the majority of countries in the Assembly as a result of the 25 April elections.
Several days ago, the Socialist Party officially nominated Edi Rama as prime minister, through a request to the president.
Within ten days the mandated prime minister must present the government programme and the names of the new cabinet in the country. After adopting the Assembly, the new government again heads for decree to the president of the Republic.
The newly established Assembly finds Albania in a complicated situation between this institution and the country's president.
In June of this year, outgoing MPs voted in favour of Meta's dismissal by 104 votes, saying he did. Serious Sins of the Constitution.
Meta has said he will not recognise any activities of a “one party” and that he will exercise his duty until July 24th 2022.
However, the Socialist Party has made it clear that it is aimed at firing Meta.
The assembly's decision on Meta's dismissal from the presidential post has been sent to the Constitutional Court, which, if it confirms the guilt of the president of the Republic, declares his dismissal from office.
In the event of dismissal by the Constitutional Court, President Meta will become Albania's first dismissed president in the 30-year era since Albania toppled 50-year-old communism and opened the way for democratic transition.
Albania has dedicated its tenth legislature since the fall of communism in the country at Friday's session with MPs elected on 25 April 2021.
