Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Northern Macedonia's Zoran Zaev, Bosnia's Prime Minister Zoran Tegeltija and Serbia's chief minister, Ana Brnabiq and Montenegrin Zdravko Krivokapiq, have already arrived before the time specified under the Albanian protocol.

Also, there will be a family photo of Chancellor Merkel and all prime ministers of the sixth of the Western Balkans.

This meeting is held before the upcoming summit of Western Balkan countries, to be held on 6 October in Slovenia.

The empty theme of this meeting is undoubtedly regional co-operation and the Berlin Process -- an initiative that has been praised as the bridge between the Western Balkans and the European Union.

More about this meeting is expected to be learned from Chancellor Merkel's conference with Prime Minister Rama, scheduled around 14:30.
