The chairman of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, Mufti Naim Eph. Ternava, hosted Republika Srpska Health Minister Arben Vitita at the meeting today, where the topic of discussion was the prevention of the global pandemic COVID-19.
Mufti Ternava expressed the full support of the Islamic Community of Kosovo in respecting measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
He further said that we as BIK in order to maintain public health, in accordance with new anti-David measures, have notified religious officials of the new government measures and BIK's decision on performing religious rituals with cymbals on religious objects and their surrounding spaces based on the anti-convid manual.
On the other hand, Health Minister Arben Vitita highly praised the contribution of the Islamic Community of Kosovo at this time of pandemic, but also excellent co-operation with the Ministry of Health and appealed to citizens to take increased care of their health and not to hesitate from the vaccine.
