The head of the Kosovo delegation in dialogue with Serbia, Besnik Bislimi, confirmed that this month there will be no meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Alexadar Vuciq.
“There is not enough tangible progress to organise a meeting of leaders”, Bislim said after the end of meeting with the Serbian delegation, mediated by the European Union.
During the trilateral meeting, the only topic has been the issue of the unknown. Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi said that on this issue, the parties have expressed readiness to have access to state archives.
“at one point, Mr. (Petar) Petkov has agreed that we have full access to all archives, including military archives in Belgrade, as well as access to KLA archives. No KLA archives, but there are state archives for The KLA in Kosovo and we are and have been open to share this information”, Bislim said.
He also indicated that they have agreed that working groups on the issue of the missing will meet regularly and that the lifeless bodies found in the mass cemetery in Kizevac, Serbia, will be handed over to families. He said seven mortore remains have been identified by authorities in Belgrade and the remains of two identified persons are found in Pristina's morgue.
It's important that we exchange mortar waste so the victims' families get it. But we have to see how we will arrange this because our side has confirmed that it will not (Velko) Oldoliqi as the head of the Ibrahimx1> delegation, Bislimi said.
The September 8th meeting was held despite the parties' earlier day said they have not reached reconciliation either for the trilateral meeting agenda.
On September 7th, Kosovo's delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, has discussed with the EU the topic of the dead, energy, license plates and official visits, as official Pristina banned the entrance of Serbia's delegation chief Petar Petkov. / REL
