New measures, what Kosovars should know targeting Albania, Macedonia

The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Skopje has announced that from today local and foreign citizens will be able to enter the territory of the Republic of Northern Macedonia in case these documents are owned at the border point:

Certificate /firmation for immunization performed by SARS-CoV-2 virus, or acceptance of two doses of vaccine against NIC disease VID- 19 or

Certificate / confirmation of KOVID 19 in the last 45 days, from the day of healing, or

Medical proof with negative results from RT P CR SARS-Cov-2 test, implemented 72 hours before entering the territory of the Republic of Northern Macedonia or negative results from rapid antigen tests, carried out 48 hours before entering the territory of the Republic of Northern Macedonia,

This decision is ruled out:

Citizens who transit through the Republic of Northern Macedonia, who at the entry point sign the Declaration for Transport.

Measures have also been tightened in Albania. Praising the current situation, the Committee has decided to take these measures:

Starting on September 1st, the police hour from 0700-06 o'clock will be at 11:00-06-00.

By September 6th, citizens who will enter the Republic of Albania from all border points must submit the vaccine passport, where the date of full vaccine is no later than two weeks from the border entry date, the PCR test within 72 hours or the rapid test within 48 hours, or evidence of the passage of SARS-Cov-2 valid up to 6 months of recovery.

This is also valid for those who cross transit, while children up to six are not subject to these rules.

Albanian citizens, residents in Albania who return and do not have one of the above documents should veto themselves for 10 days and should announce health authorities to conduct a test at the end of the isolation.

The Technical Committee of Vaccination Experts has established the recommendation of placing the vaccination mandatory for more stocked groups, starting with medical staffs, educators and students.

September being an open month, educators and students are vaccinated and until September 30th to hand in the copy of the vaccine card issued by e-albania. After that date, those who were not vaccinated will have to consistently submit the PCR test.

Exceptions will be made only for those with medical indicators not to take the vaccine.

The Experts' Committee follows calls for students to be vaccinated so that in September they can continue teaching in audiences as they have requested and facilitate the performance of the learning process.

Only passengers who will travel will be allowed to enter the airports, avoiding the presence of their families. Passengers need to keep their mask rigorously.

The order to use masks in closed environments that does not ensure physical distance remains in force.

For any neglect of the mask, there will be a penalty, a 3,000 dollar fine for the first time, and 5,000 dollars when repeated. For businesses, failure to implement protocols amounts to 100 thousand dollars.

These measures will be in force until a second order from the Ministry of Health.
