The learning process is set to be put off for the next two weeks.

The government has also decided on closing nests in the country until September 27th.

Health Minister Arben Vitita said that in public and private institutions, until September 26th, 2021, the obligation continues to be presented only to the essential staff, while non-sensual staff is obliged to work from home.

For the sake of this decision, essential staff are considered workers whose physical presence in the workplace is necessary for performing tasks.

He also said that students to enroll in dormitories should have vaccination certificate, test PCR or serological.

While Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Technology and innovation Edona Maloku-Brdyna said all necessary measures for the start of the school year have been prepared, and that 80% of educational staff have been vaccinated.

“The biggest share of teachers are vaccinated, where 80% of educational personnel have been vaccinated, which is up-to-date. Pre-university and pre-university activities are suspended by September 26th, and other measures involving the Education Ministry”, she said.

Some of the new measures:

Meetings are only allowed up to 20 people, keeping 1.5m apart.

Public institutions work only with essential staff.

Gastronomia continues as well as results.

At border points from 13 September over 16 years of age, they are obliged to submit the certificate of vaccine or relevant tests as yet.

cultural centres and cultural institutions depending on the MKRS and the municipalities suspend activities until 26 September.

Otherwise, other measures continue as they have in the last two weeks.

By September 27th, we will have new measures depending on the analysis and situation we can have at the time in co-operation with the IKSHP and other health institutions at the country level.
