So at least it has become known by local media, which have been summoned to a Swiss Embassy announcement in Kosovo.
According to Monday announcement, there will be new entry regulations for citizens of the two countries.
However, nothing changes for those who are vaccinated.
You can normally enter the country with a visa. However, they must be vaccinated with one of the vaccines approved”.
Unexcused people, however, are allowed to enter only “situations with an extreme necessity”.
According to the State Secretariat for Migration, “The extreme” is considered the deaths of relatives, calls to court or emergency visits to authorities.
Of course, the regulation does not apply to Kosovo or North Macedonian citizens who have permission to stay in Switzerland.
Such a step comes after Switzerland has reacted to the most tense epidemiological situation in the two Balkan countries and the fact that after summer holidays many returning from there came to Switzerland infected with COVID-19.
