Full communication:
The Democratic League of Kosovo has closely followed events in the country's north, from the first day until today, when the agreement was reached in Brussels.
The LDK has given support to the Government of Kosovo for extending sovereignty to the entire territory of the country, as well as to the issue of reciprocity, as a just and necessary measure in political and trade relations with Serbia. Similarly, the LDK has considered dialogue to be the only form of dealing with interstate problems; here and there, participation in the dialogue of a ruling party today that for its entire historical cause had been rejected as a means, although the extraordinary turn, was single and unalterable.
Despite opposition support, the ruling party, which until yesterday rejected dialogue as a tool, today took a step forward two times behind. Although we appreciate the achievement of equality in dealing with license plates, we strongly oppose the unprecedented draw and the long-term consequences the Government of the Republic of Kosovo made security and legitimacy forces with Serbia-sponsored barricades. The Kosovo government, for the first time, equated the Special Police Unit with illegal bartenders. He did so; a party with which he must deal with Serbia for his territory.
Instead of extending sovereignty and legitimacy -- today, the Government of Kosovo -- withdrew and surrendered this sovereignty to a third party. Moreover, it did this withdrawal in accordance with Serbia that does not recognise us. This neighbouring country, Serbia, therefore, gives consent or not to legal organisation of Kosovo territory. So Serbia's reconciliation, how the legitimacy in Kosovo, where the Police Units stand, and when and when they leave, is a serious setback. Above all, it is a dangerous precedent for the future; from now, whenever the forces of order go north to impose legitimacy, barricades arise and Kosovo must negotiate with Serbia for their departure.
The LDK also strongly opposes the legitimacy of Kosovo city signs issued in Serbia. Continued use of them is also a setback. No sticky ticket -- no other measure -- covers the serious mistake the Kosovo government has made today.
The LDK estimates that the sovereignty handed down cannot be exercised sovereignty. Today's deal is the 2016 deal, once called “The shame agreement” by the same ones who reactivated today, but degraded, since order and law in the north can no longer exercise the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo without allowing Serbia.
