In the LDK communiqué, political acts, civil society and media are called on to line up against the postponement of elections. While, in terms of the risk of increasing the number of infected by pandemic COVID-19, the LDK requires that the election campaign be reduced from 30 to 5 days.

At the meeting held today, the LDK's leadership, given the serious health situation in the country, the situation caused by invisibility and invisibility, decided that completely voluntary, conventional electoral campaign will be cut from 30 days to just 5 days; with the possibility that, depending on the pandemic situation, it will not be held at all. The campaign, meanwhile, will only be kept in digital form and at gatherings by respecting the country's arrangement on public gatherings. The meeting was discussed and the necessity of holding elections on October 17th within Kosovo's constitutional and democratic frameworks.
The LDK leadership once again invites all political actors, civil society, media and the academic world to line up against the tendency to affect elections that are the foundation of democracy. During the meeting, it was also discussed organising party structures for the 17 October local elections, as well as current political developments in the country.
