At the first meeting with the new resident ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Kosovo, Minca Benedejqiq, in which Prime Minister Kurti welcomed them, talked about relations between the two countries and areas in which we intend to strengthen them.
As reported in the government's announcement, Prime Minister Kurti thanked Ambassador Benedejqiq for waiting for the Slovenian state's visit during the Bled Strategic Forum, and for the meetings and talks he had with Slovenia's president, Borut Pahor and Slovenia's Prime Minister Janez Jansha.
Our “Our countries have 20 bilateral agreements and some others we expect to finalise. This speaks of the high and developed level of relations between our two states”, the prime minister said at the meeting, among other things.
In that spirit, as a government, we will become more involved in reaching other bilateral agreements.
It was talked about the state of burden with pandemic and implementation of measures undertaken by the Government to prevent further spread of the Delta version of the virus. Ambassador Benedejqiq thanked Prime Minister Kurti for the meeting and hospitality.
As noted in the communiqué, she congratulated him on the work of Government during these 166 days and praised Prime Minister Kurti's commitment to reforms undertaken in the field of justice and economic progress.
Furthermore, she stressed that its goal and the state it represents is to strengthen bilateral relations and promote co-operation in various areas and of common interest.
