Kurt says goodbye to Costnet: The US is our ally and irreplaceable partner

Prime Minister Kurti and US Ambassador Philip Costet, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi and prime minister's chief of staff, Luan Dalipi on the one hand and US Deputy Ambassador Nicholas Giacobbet on the other, have held the farewell meeting today, in case of the end of Ambassador Costet's term. Prime Minister Kurti thanked Ambassador Costet for co-operation throughout his entire mandate in Kosovo.

The United States of America is our ally and our irreplaceable partner. With it supported and with the political will of the Government, Kosovo will increasingly become a stable partner of the United States of America and rule of law and development”, the prime minister said.

He said that he, as prime minister and the government leading, will continue this tradition of close and special co-operation with the United States of America and its representatives in Kosovo in meeting common goals and interests.

Prime Minister Kurti, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi and Prime Minister's Chief of Staff Dalipi congratulated Ambassador Costnet on further successes in his next commitments, reminding him that he is always welcome in Kosovo.
