Krasniqi: Election delay that possibly VV's going well

Krasniqi said the reason for this is worsening the situation with the pandemic.

But he stressed that they did not have this sensitivity in the February 14th elections because they felt close to power.

Albert Krasniqi added that the numbers are not doing well for local elections so they are suddenly worrying about public health.

“The LVV has released the idea of delaying local elections on the pretext that the situation could deteriorate with the pandemic. It's good when politicians are sensitive to citizens' health, but we haven't seen this sensitivity in the February 14th elections when they invited citizens to participate in massive election campaign marches. Then they may have felt closer to power”.

Today, when numbers are probably not doing well for local elections, they suddenly worry about public health! One thing needs to be taken into account, that postponing elections does not hide inadequacy, irresponsability and insensibly out of this government in the whole situation with the pandemic”.

” Beyond legal restrictions on delaying elections, there is no need. All that needs to be done is cutting the election campaign in agreement with all the political leaders. During this brief campaign period, public gatherings are not allowed over the number allowed by the IKSF, and that any public campaign activity is monitored by inspectors for respecting the” measures.
