Three times the winner of the Sundance Festival -- chosen by Blerta Bashall -- is nominated by Kosovo as its official candidate for the Oscars race.
It is as universal, as it touches on the story of pain, endurance and ultimately triumph. The film is well achieved realistically, contained and with deep gravity. Fahrie Hoti's true story in Rzgjoji is an inspired cinematographic expression in challenging the status quo and the socially-constructed roles in Kosovo and the world” declared the selection committee after the film's selection.
