An ambassador's work on diplomatic missions cannot be replaced by military, but according to former US defence attaché Xhavit Gashi, the military representative may even hand over political affairs. Gashi in an interview for Klan has shared his experience.

“We are negotiating the accreditation of the attaché in Belgium, while we are in the process of selecting three more, as follows: Albania, Croatia and United Kingdom. ” says in a defence ministry response.
Under the new protection attachive regulations that went into effect in October 2020, the establishment and launch of the work of the Defence Atase and Military Representative are realised within June August, unless under extraordinary conditions or in cases of dismissal/restation.
The group's mandate is three years old, until before the launch of the KSF's military conversion was four years old and they were not accredited.
