The opening of KLA archives, Miftaraj: Swords behind your back for those being tried at The Hague risk dialogue

The declaration of the opening of archives dealing with the KLA is a knife behind the back to all persons in custody in The Hague and to those against whom the indictment could be filed, Economia Online told Efat Miftaraj, director of the Kosovo Institute for Justice. Miftaraj points out that Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bisilim [...]

Miftaraj points out that Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bisilimi has distorted a truth by conveying messages to the Serbian side that Kosovo had archives and the KLA has been a regular army and has archived all of what happened during the war.

“I believe that it is an amateur error in this case of Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi, for at least two reasons, and the first is that the archives of Serbia that this country wanted to open up to The Hague, we talk about The Hague Tribunal, former Joguslavin, while the rest of the archive that this country has had or destroyed, or just doubt that it has the will to open up and give access to Kosovo or parties to reveal the fate of the missing.

The second <x0 scene relates to the fact that the Kosovo Liberation Army has never had an archive which in a far way could be opened in this case for Serbia and in the end that this is a knife behind all those who are now in custody in The Hague and those who can be charged and can be used as a trial-prosecuting weapon to them where we all know that the Kosovo Liberation Army has not been an organisation that has been organised and which has had a chain in Kosovo, and through that it has not accepted a real Bimimi that has distorted the message to the Serb public or the archive, we know that the Kosovo Liberation Army has been doing what it has done in the entire war, but that the army of war has already experienced, but that the archive has not taken place in Kosovo, but that the archive has not yet.

All of this, according to Miftaraj, jeopardises dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, putting the country in an unpleasant situation, giving credit to Serbia to hide war crimes.

“I believe this endangers Kosovo- Serbia because Kosovo is in an uncomfortable situation, but on the other hand it gives Serbia credit to conceal war crimes, information and data that it has on missing persons by asking for reciprocity on the basis of that, that if Kosovo does not open archives which are then the same may say that it cannot open up its archives that we know on its basis that The Hague Trinal has confirmed that there are archives and data that can be used for the fate of missing in Kosovo<1>

On Thursday, Kurti's deputy, Besnik Bislimi, has said he has agreed with the Serbian side to open all archives, including those of Kosovo dealing with the KLA, EO reports.

Regarding this statement of Bislim, numerous reactions have come, because according to these reactions, The KLA does not have closed or opened archives.
