Through a video published on Facebook, KFOR has said it maintains an impartial stance on the situation created in the north. While, the announcement stressed that KFOR commander General Federic is keeping in touch with all sides.

“In response to recent developments in northern Kosovo, the NATO-led KFOR mission has increased patrols along key traffic routes affected by roadblocks and has deployed units at the Jarinje and Brnjak border crossing points. KFOR maintains an impartial, powerful, flexible, and flexible attitude to deal with all possible occasions. General Federic also remains in close contact with all parties involved to contribute to a fast de-progression”, the report said.

“KFOR remains focused on the daily implementation of its mandate, which stems from UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in 1999 to ensure a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all communities living in Kosovo”, the announcement concludes.
