KED is making all preparations on the ground for the winter season, being at all times in service to all consumers in Kosovo. As we are close to the beginning of the temperature decline, the company has also increased investment paces in the villages of Oshan, Pantina, Statrica, Duboc, Beciq, Galica and Akrashtica of the Vushtrica municipality.
This investment, scheduled to be completed in October, is being made at the 10kV remote of the railway station, which will be at a distance of 5.5km, and will serve about three thousand inhabitants of these villages.
KED teams have initially started removing old pillars that have been placed in field areas to replace them with concrete pillars in the vicinity of the road. All of this to increase security for sustainable and quality supply, but also to make it easier to intervene our teams in cases of agriculture, as field areas have often not been accessible to heavy machinery, and ECDS teams have been forced to carry out all the work physically.
We remember that the village of Oshan is one of the first countries to be electrified in the Wushtrri Community, while it is now being invested in the mid-tensity distance, giving even better vision to this village.
