Hovenija is an American career diplomat nominated by the administration of Joe Biden to be ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo. He's never done the ambassador's job before.
Howienne grew up in Bellingham, Washington, and graduated from Arts in international relations at Georgetown University, says Periscope.
Jeff has worked at various embassies such as Peru's, Croatia, Greece, Panama, Georgia and Paraguay.
He has also served at the American Embassy in Turkey.
His nomination for the current position took place on July 2, 2021.
