Pristina's presidential candidate, Uran Ismaili, has said today at a media conference that in his plan for Pristina it is also the creation of a green belt that connects neighbourhoods to green spaces existing with those that will be created and that will be maintained with the efficient irrigation system.
Ismaili has shown that the design of the green belt, including urban furniture, lighting, wood types and greenery that will be used, creating a whole range extending from the flag to the Germ park.

Your Honor,
Thank you for coming to this conference today.
As you already know, among the main demands of Pristina citizens are green and clean spaces in the city, which are now missing.
During all this time, numerous citizens' arrivals and discussions in every neighbourhood in Pristina, the most frequent demand has been the creation of green spaces, the creation of walking opportunities (for mothers, children, elderly ones), towns, cycling, and motions and other vehicles that do not involve vehicles.
I've mentioned a surprising statistic on several other occasions today, only 1% of Pristina's inhabitants use bicycles for transport, but 50% of them express themselves willing to use them if they had conditions and security.
So, today we're in the Ademi Demach Park to discover a component of my Green Pristina program, which we've called “Green Strip”.
What are we gonna do?
We anticipate the creation of Pristina's green belt that connects neighborhoods with existing green spaces, as well as those spaces that we will create, which will be maintained by the efficient irrigation system.
How do we do that?
Green belt design, including urban furniture, lighting, wood species, and greenery that will be used, creating a whole range stretching from the flag to the Germ park.
Of course, this will be done through infrastructure investments,
And there will be the release of the curbs seized along the line through which the green belt passes,
Realisation of the efficient irrigation system
How long will it end?
All these green spaces, current and new, have to connect to the Green Belt, which, I repeat, starts from this part and ends up in the Dig.
The Green Belt is to be completed in December 2024.
These are some of our concrete projects that support our vision of a green Pristina where the quality of living grows. These projects are specifically thought of by Pristina citizens, their daily demands and needs. We are offering you concrete, thinking, measurable, feasible solutions.
In this vision and plan, Pristina unites us all.
