According to the daily report, 73 patients are in intensive care, meanwhile 978 are being treated with oxygen therapy.
“at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK) are extended 398 patients, 391 of them with COVID-19, while 349 are being treated with oxygen therapy. In general hospitals there are 773 patients, 653 confirmed with COVID-19 positive and 629 with oxygen-therapy”, the report said.
The Health Ministry announced on Friday, September 3rd that 26 deaths and 1,448 new Corleone cases were registered.
According to the report, 15 of the victims were male and 11 female.
The new cases emerged after testing 12,558 samples in public and private labs.
Health Minister Arben Vitita said on Friday that according to the last seven-day data, not including the September 3rd data, over 93 per cent of people with COVID-19, who are being treated in hospitals, have been unexcused against the Coronavirus.
During a media conference, following the Committee's meeting for Coronavirus Prevention, Vitia also said that 170 citizens have died in the past seven days.
“this week, 170 people have lost their lives, and by the total death toll, 149 have been unex1>, Vitita said.
He also made it known that among the victims, only two of them had no record of accompanying diseases, while most victims had other diseases.
There is no alternative. New waves can and will follow without vaccine. New waves are inevitable. Only vaccination prevents these waves”, Vitia said.
He did not rule out the possibility of new measures before 13 September, until the latest measures taken by the government are in force.
By 3 September, 298.445 people with both doses of vaccine have been vaccinated in Kosovo, while 882,718 doses have been administered in total.
